Hey guys! Hope you guys have been having a good week. This week has been pretty crazy for me! I've been working a lot on the memoir that I've been working on, and it can be pretty challenging since I'm not used to writing and thinking about myself as much as I have to with this book lol. It's really cool though because a lot of the things you may have forgotten about in your past start to come back when you start thinking hard and a lot about events and memories you have back there in your brain that might be a little rusty. They're still there though, you just have to really take some time to ponder haha. It's been challenging with all the other things we've had to do with the project too, but I'm looking forward to seeing how everything comes together at the end and sometimes it's good to challenge yourself farther than you may normally be used to!
Other than the book, I've also been working on some more writing and recording this week. I got to spend more time with Eman this week and I'm really pumped about the song we finished writing! I also recorded another song a few days ago at his studio which I think has a great message to it. I haven't been able to get into music as much this week with all the work I've had to finish with the book, but I'll be kickin' back into gear next week back in LA.
So now I'm back in Miami, and I've had such an awesome experience here! I was able to be a part of the Spanish We Are the World project "Somos El Mundo" and it was really great! Emilio and Gloria Estefan got the project together, and they along with their staff are some of the nicest people you could ever work with. This is the first time they've ever done this song in Spanish, so I'm really glad to have been a part of it with so many talented Latin artists. I love it when people come together to help out, because it really is amazing how much strength comes when people come together. It was neat being able to help in the Hope for Haiti telethon and see how much good came from everyone coming together to unite to help the people in Haiti. There's power in numbers. The damage happened so quickly in Haiti, and now they need to recover from all that has happened there. I was watching the news last night and saw that Kris Allen went out to Haiti to help out. I thought that was so cool. I really look up to him for all that he does for other people. I know that he's done a lot of missionary work in a lot of different places and countries, and I think people should do things like that more. Even if you aren't able to go to a different country, you can still help by sending donations to good causes, or help out the people who may need your help even in your own country, state, or town.
Being at the Somos El Mundo recording yesterday was my first time being around and meeting so many Latin artists. I was pretty nervous with the interviews and being new to that crowd, but it was really fun at the same time and a lot of really nice people. It was good to see PeeWee there, and Ednita Nazario was incredibly nice! Jon Secada, Cristian Castro, Ricardo Montaner, Chayanne, Thalia, and Luis Fonsi were some of the people there. I was like in shock and thought I was going to pass out when I met Luis Fonsi lol. He's such an amazing singer. The video will premiere on Univision March 1st on Cristina. She's a very popular Hispanic talk show host if you aren't familiar with her. She was there yesterday as well, and it was crazy seeing her there because she's just one of those people I never thought I'd get to meet. I remember watching her when I was little. But anyway I've written enough for today, so I will talk to you guys later! Ciao!

＃去醫院探視病童時，有人在照相讓他不是很高興，但後來去個別病房時Jordin請他們離開了。（wow）

＃去拜訪親戚，還去Wal Mart（他對Wal Mart和Target的喜愛還是不變啊各位！）

Hey everyone!

So I’ve had a pretty awesome week! I was able to get some time to go down to Florida and help Jordin Sparks out with her charity called Jordin Sparks Experience. It was a really neat experience! What made it even better is that I had my mom come down with me. The event was in Miami Beach and I was born in Miami, so it my mom and I were so happy to go back haha. But it was so great because Jordin and I finally got to sing together!! We sang No Air, which is pretty difficult to sing haha. Jordin is such an incredible singer though! I can’t believe I got to sing that song with her. At first when I found out she wanted me to sing that song with her I was thinkin’, “Uh…” lol because it’s such a hard song to sing and I thought I would look like an idiot trying to sing that song with someone who sings that good. It was a real privilege though getting to sing with someone that talented and who sings with that much emotion, and they’re close to my age. But yeah it was a fun event and Jason DeRulo, Chrisette Michele, this amazing 9 year-old pianist Ethan Bortnick, and Sam Moore were there as well, and they were all great people.

Oh man so while I really enjoyed getting to go to the event, I felt like such a loser because my cheek was like a balloon! It was swollen, but there was nothing I could do to hide it. So I just had to deal with all the pictures and cameras and not let it get to me lol. At least I’ll be able to tell where the pictures were taken, because if my cheek is swollen in any of them it means I was on my Florida trip in the beginning of February, 2010. While we were down there though we were able to go to the Miami Children’s Hospital, and it was great getting to meet the kids there. The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable were all the cameras there lol. Not just for my cheek but just how we wanted to focus on getting to talk and meet with the kids. But Jordin was able to ask the cameras to leave once we went to visit the individual kids in rooms to put the focus on them, and it’s cool to see how much Jordin cares about those kids.

While I was at the hospital, I was able to get checked on for my swelling haha. So I was able to get some antibiotics for the infection that I had. I think it had to do with my 12 year molars which are FINALLY coming in now that my wisdom teeth are finally out. But it’s all good because it’s almost back to normal! I can hardly see it anymore. Sometimes you wonder why things like that happen, but it helps you appreciate what you have more and not take it for granted.

Another thing we got to do while we were down there was meet with PeeWee Salinas. We became friends with him when we met him at Nuestra Navidad, and it was good hanging out with him. He’s a Latino artist so if you aren’t familiar with his stuff you can listen to “Quédate.” I heard it on the radio while we were down in Miami which was cool haha. Something that PeeWee, my mom and I got to do was go to the Owl City concert! haha. It was a really fun one to watch and all the band and crew are super nice people. Lights opened up for Owl City and she is one of the friendliest people I’ve met. She is the one who reminded me that while my face was swollen, it will help me appreciate my normal face more lol. But she’s really talented! She has an electronica vibe and you guys should check he rout.

All right, the last thing I did in Florida was visit family!! I got to spend time with mi abuelita, cousins, aunt and uncle and it was just so great. I love getting to see family and spend as much time as I can with them! It was even great driving around with them and going to Wal Mart lol. But I didn’t want to leave, and my mom didn’t either. It just gives us more reason to go back though. So I’m hoping to go back again soon. I’m proud to be born there haha.

This week ahead is back to writing! I had my first day with Lindy Robbins and Matt Squire yesterday and it’s off to a great start! I just felt really comfortable with the song and felt like I wasn’t worrying about trying to impress someone or be anything else. I’m excited for the day when everything’s ready to get the album out for you guys to listen to the new stuff! But I better leave now because as you can see I can write until your eyes fall out. But thanks everyone for your continued enthusiasm about this next project! I will talk to you guys later!

Hola! I am in New Hampshire right now for the last 3 shows with Demi Lovato this week. We had rehearsals today, and they went pretty well. I haven't sung these songs for a while haha, but it'll be fun to do them for the shows. It's fun seeing all the crew people again! It'll be fun to perform for all you guys again! So let me know if you're coming to any of the shows that are coming up! I know the weather has been pretty gloomy, but apparently I left Utah right as we were getting some major snow in that area. I prefer the rain here in the east over the freezing snowstorms in the Rocky Mountains. I hope everyone back over there is safe though.

Hello there to all of you who are reading!

Just another week of updating here. This last week has been pretty interesting since I've had the little challenge of trying to perform even though I was struggling with losing my voice. It's actually been a pretty good learning experience though! I struggled quite a bit the last 3 shows, but what's interesting is that I loved all 3!
Minneapolis, and then 2 solo shows in Sioux Falls and Milwaukee haha. I think it made me appreciate what I've been doing even more, and made me realize the most important thing isn't blasting away at every high note perfectly. There's a lot more to music and performing than that, and I need to remember that there's a connection and feeling in music that doesn't come by hitting each note technically perfect. I guess I just needed to lose my voice to remember that haha. Anyway, I could go on with that but I probably wouldn't make any more sense than what I already said :).

Wednesday we had our acoustic show, and that was really fun! We just did stripped down versions of the songs, and I think it allowed people to focus more on the music side of things rather than just the energy. It was a really laid back mood too, and I felt really comfortable. It's definitely something I'd like to do again!

So my buddy Ashlee has come out for a few days!! It's been fun having a friend here for me (and for everyone else) to hang out with. I had her come on stage the last 2 shows we had in Sioux Falls and Milwaukee to sing for the encore. We sang Lean On Me, which is a song we used to always sing together at home haha. It's good to have friends who are and have been there for you no matter what changes you may be going through, and who still treat you with the same respect that they had before - even when everyone else is treating you differently haha. But it's been great singing that song, and it's a great song that represents a good friendship.

Something that Ashlee, Kendra and I got to go to after the Minneapolis show was the Parachute and The Script concert! Both acts have really great music and are really talented! We got to talk to both bands afterwards, and they were all really nice and cool guys. You never know how people really are until you get to really talk to them and meet them. So when people are genuine and appreciative of what they have even when they're successful, I find them really admirable and have a lot of respect for them. So it's cool to see that and feel that energy from them.

So today is a day off in Nashville, and I had a writing session! One of the writers I worked with today, Joy Williams, actually was one of the writers of Waiting For Yesterday. I've had one of her songs (Every Moment, great song!) as my song for the day before too. The other talented writers were Matt Bronleewe and Andrew Frohm (sp? haha.) But I had a really good time. It's so much fun getting to write and be in the studio! I also did some recording for the Christmas album when I had a day off in Minneapolis. I'm looking forward to doing more writing and recording! I really hope you guys like the Christmas stuff. We've really been working on trying to have the songs be heartfelt and have that spirit of Christmas in them. So I hope you guys like it! Well I have a bunch of people waiting for me to come join them dinner, so I'm gonna eat some food now! So ciao as I chow down haha.

他明天lousville演唱會聽起來實在太太太棒了，當初應該排除萬難也要去的，從來沒做過的，全部的歌都重新編曲，acoustic，我怎麼就錯過了，Punk，你說氣不氣人！！！

這就是大衛在Chicago給我的卡片，本來他說不要給別人看，我想是因為他不想把他和他宗教的事太公開的討論，不過現在他既然自己在部落格裡說出來了，貼出來就應該沒關係了，他在部落格裡提到的Nauvoo的歷史劇是他以前在猶他州的鄰居在那裡經營的。

這篇部落格文章最重要的地方你們看出來了嗎？除了他替三個女生打歌，說家人和朋友相聚很重要之外，就是他不敢相信他在全球有這麼多的粉絲，而且這些粉絲還寫信，送禮物，拼命的來看他，這些人說的是誰？？？就是我們！！！！！我在VIP裡看到國外來的就是Naree，她是菲律賓來的，再來就是我們了，台灣，香港，大陸的粉絲，寫了多少信給他，每封都聲聲的叫他到亞洲來，他能不感動嗎？可見他一定讀了我們的信，感動到不行，所以才說等不及要離開美國，再度到國外舉辦演唱會了！！！！我們成功了！！！

原來這就是他昨天在VIP時候問我們看到沒有的blog，一邊拍照，一邊他還在問，我的blog豋出來了嗎？真有粉絲馬上回答，28分鐘前豋出來了。大衛粉絲的手機裡除了他的消息簡直就沒有別人了。

＃Tom Fletcher就是那個在twitter比賽被他打敗的那個Harry Potter的演員，他還要粉絲去祝Tom生日快樂，這種氣度！(Punk提醒我，此Tom非彼Tom也，Tom Flecher是Mcfly的那個大帥哥，我在twitter上follower的那個，Tom Felton才是Harry Potter的那個演員，哦， my bad！給大家行個禮，道個歉！）

＃北美好像真的很多人不知道Totoro也

我實在太愛他了，怎麼辦？？？他本來要做Vlog的，可是病太重了只好寫blog，55555555555。坐巴士坐了24小時大家相信嗎？到旅館他連動都不能動了，看到這裡好難過，我們的寶貝好可憐，有沒有人去惜惜他啊？

基本上是這週的recap，不過由他嘴裡清楚的娓娓道來更讓大家了解他對每件事的看法。重點：

＃不要相信謠言說娛樂界的人都很壞，因為他到現在為止碰到都是好人（那是因為他人好好不好，看到他所有人善良的一面都被激發出來了）

＃他真是不是個好廚子

＃他喜歡小場地，因為這樣可以跟所有粉絲互動（我們也喜歡小場地哪！）

Hey folks! I just wanted to let you know about my week really quick, and I'll really try to not make it so long this time lol. So first of all, I hope everyone had a great weekend and Memorial Day. I had the chance to spend time with my family for the weekend! It was a lot of fun. We actually got to sit down and talk about some of our ancestors, which was really interesting. I also got to go to a concert with my mom and sister Memorial Day. It was the No Doubt concert, and they had Paramore on tour with them. There was also a band called The Sounds that was the 1st opening act. No Doubt were really friendly, and everyone that worked with them on tour kept saying how they're the nicest and coolest people you could work for. It's always good to know that, and I thought it was neat how all their employees spoke so highly of them.

So watching the show, we sat in our seats for Paramore's set.. but moved to the side of the stage for No Doubt's set. It was a really good show though. Paramore was another really cool group of people. I couldn't believe that they're the same age as me! It's always neat to be able to talk to people your age in the industry who go through the same things you do. You can talk about music, but also just normal stuff people your age talk about haha. But a bunch of really cool people in Paramore. Gotta give them props, and Hayley can freakin' sing! My little sister was in heaven at the concert, because she loves Paramore lol. I'm really glad that everyone I've gotten to meet has just been really cool so far. I always hear about all these horror stories and jerks out there, but it seems like all these people that I run into and meet are totally laid back and friendly. Even people that I hear rumors about, so don't always believe rumors you guys. Rumors are nasty things haha.

I got to go to Greensboro, North Carolina to participate in a charity dinner for the radio station 1075 KZL. It was a Hibachi Japanese grill restaurant, and I (unfortunately for those at my table) got to try and cook the food haha. I have learned that I am not that great of a chef haha. I actually like almost caught myself on fire, but it was fun! I got to wear an apron and chef's hat. I appreciate everyone at my table for coming and being good sports about my lack of cooking skills lol. So thanks you guys! I kept burning the food too lol, but hey I like food a little on the cooked side!

After North Carolina, I went to NYC to perform at the PC Richards Theater for Z100 contest winners. It was a small theater, not that many people since you had to win to get in, and I loved it! I felt so comfortable up there and had a blast. Have to thank everyone for coming for that! It's probably one of my favorite shows I've ever done just because it was so laid-back and I got to interact with everyone there. Fun stuuufff. Well I think I'm going to a concert tonight! So I better get going to that, and I'll talk to you all later.
