讀完這篇報導,答案好像是肯定的,星馬粉絲這次熱情的強度使得大衛回亞洲做真正演唱會的可能性大幅增高,我們在台灣(或香港,或上海)見到他的可能性也大大提升,大家應該感到高興。

He immediately launched into his first song, his current
radio hit, A Little Too Not Over You, followed by Touch My Hand, Don’t
Let Go and his first single, Crush.
For those who had not seen
him perform since last year’s American Idol finals, it was clear that
he had grown into a more polished and confident artiste, moving across
the stage like a pro, busting into some new moves and making eye
contact and waving to his adoring fans.
However, there was
still evidence of the endearing, slightly dorky Archuleta that people
fell in love with when he accidentally walked into his mic stand in the
middle of a song!
After taking a short break, Archuleta
returned to the stage to perform two covers on the keyboard,
demonstrating his vocal prowess on Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles
and Robbie Williams’ Angels.

Then, he was gone, leaving fans still begging for more.
While
Archuleta gave it his all, the only downside of the performance was
that the sound system was less than perfect. With music cutting in and
out, all the screaming in the amphitheatre actually drowned out his
voice on several occasions.
When he tried to interact with
fans between songs, his words were barely audible, although fans didn’t
seem to care what he said as long as they could see him.
Something also has to be said about the obvious overcrowding at the venue.
The aisles and stairs were full and it was standing room only at the rear.
Luckily,
nothing untoward happened but still, there should have been a tighter
rein on the number of people allowed into the venue.

While
passes had the disclaimer that holders were not guaranteed entry, it
was small consolation to the fans who were turned away at the gate once
the arena could hold no more.
It was obvious that too many passes had been given away.
While this was a testament to Archuleta’s popularity, it was a nightmare for logistics and security.
Despite
the overcrowding and the rain, fans still managed to have a good time,
and this little taste of what Archuleta had to offer only whetted their
appetites for more.
With the record company and Archuleta
himself hinting at a return for a full concert, it seems that the
future is full of possibilities for Archuleta fans.
