那個和大衛混了一天的亞洲粉絲說的，她說大衛現在的最愛就是這首。大家聽聽，這首歌真的寫的很棒，jason的現場也真的很厲害（雖然走音兩三次）。

另外感謝Hugh的指點，原來這首歌的背後有非常感人的故事，故事和歌詞在繼續閱讀之後。

這首歌
是Jason 寫給他罹癌的朋友 Charlie的
兩人是從中學時代就認識的好友
然而後來Jason到LA追尋音樂夢想
而Charlie則留在VA完成學業 後來成了一名DJ
但是在2001年 Jason終於跟唱片公司簽約了不久
卻接到從家鄉來的噩耗 Charlie告訴Jason他得了一種罕見但卻死亡率極高的癌症

但是Charlie一直以積極正面的態度面對他的病
(與其怨天尤人的抱怨"為什麼是我" 還不如笑笑接受)
這就是當時Charlie的態度
也使得Jason比較能夠釋懷 進而引發了"The Remedy"的創作靈感

後來Charlie 開始進行化療時
當時Jason 在Charlie的病床邊
彈著吉他 輕唱著未完成的"The Remedy"雛形給Charlie聽
本來他並沒有打算把這首歌收錄在專輯裡
但是Charlie 鼓勵他把歌寫完
Jason苦思了很久 卻一直想不出副歌 後來轉而向The Matrix求助
The Matrix說希望能有段慷慨激昂的副歌

所以後面才有''I Won't Worry My Life Away''這一段
這也是Charlie一直抱持的人生態度

p.s. Charlie是在國慶日生的
而有一次Jason開車到San Diego時看到Disneyland正在放煙火
就想起了以前Charlie常開玩笑說
全國人民都在幫他慶祝生日
因此有所感慨
