I wish every last one of you could have been with me last night. I was thinking about you all!! I am working on an "official" CRUSH MS update but I have a real job to attend to first! So this is just a little montage of what went on last night.

To clarify, because somehow, no matter how hard you try and how clear you are, newspapers and TV reporters cannot get the facts straight if their lives depended on it. Why is that? I want to know.

Cyprus Credit Union, which is the CU where Brett Hales works, donates thousands of dollars to MS every year. They participate in all the MS walks and bike rides, etc. and are such strong supporters of MS. We were thrilled that they decided to donate a part of their $50,000 through CRUSH MS. In reality, it all goes to the same place, but this was a lovely gesture on their part. We will be able to add $10,000 to our total.

David was gracious enough to come and present the check on behalf of the Credit Union to the Utah MS Society and then sign autographs for the CU employees and their families. THANK YOU UTAH PEEPS FOR NOT INUNDATING THE PLACE! He had a few interviews with TV stations, then looked adorable in a little pre-event reception. He signed a bunch of stuff that we are getting ready to auction in our next phase of fund-raising. Gave him the I'M RAY shirt. What is up with that you may ask?

You've seen Ray wearing the shirt that says I'M DAVID. Originally it was for David, along with the other snarky shirts for the band, but the sizes were much too large, so Ray asked David if he could wear it, which he did at the House of Blues concert. And other places. Also Manila. I feel strangely delighted that he wears it at the biggest events. Soooo, of course, we had to get David one that says I'M RAY. It is a size small - it looks bigger in the picture, but it will fit him well. And it's made in Honduras. Which he noticed right away. Go figure. He totally got the joke. I doubt we'll see it in concert but if it brings a few laughs we've done our job, right? And of course it is total pimpage for snarkies because the URL for the site is on the back!

David drove himself to the event, accepted the check, smiled, clapped, had a snow cone - or part of one, ate nuts, signed a gazillion autographs, was adorable, took a gazillion pictures, texted, twittered, was sweet, sang Happy Birthday, made hundreds of people happy, shone, sparkled, glowed, pretended he remembered me, interviewed, handed out wristbands, signed to Julee MOM on my picture (thanks Brett!), drank water, was little, was adorable, DID NOT KISS ANY GIRLS FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH OR WITHOUT HIS DAD PRESENT, acted like he wanted to be there whether he did or not, was a gentleman, was adorable, commented on Real Son's height as well as squiggly pigs and his autograph, laughed, handled awkward situations like a pro, was a star, was adorable, supported MS, didn't want to know how much his autograph brings at auction, DIDN'T KISS A GIRL - oops, already said that, radiated light which you can see in the video, drove off by himself when event was over. Not that I noticed any of these things. People told me it happened.

JENNIFER LEIGH BARRY YOU ROCK!! Her pictures, which she donated and refused payment from the CU for, were everywhere. Just so you guys know.

So enjoy! Today is WORLD MS AWARENESS DAY and I will continue to put names of people who donate into the drawing for the Murray High Shirt until midnight tonight!!
