Topsfield - Topsfield’s own pop rock duo, Michael and Marisa, have played with several national performers in their young careers, but on Dec. 19 they will be opening for season 7 American Idol star David Archuleta at Boston’s House of Blues.

Michael and Marisa, ages 11 and 12, will open for Archuleta, the runner-up in the 2008 American Idol season, on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.). Archuleta’s concert tour is called “Christmas from the Heart” where fans will have the chance to hear him sing his favorite Christmas songs as well as songs from his self-titled album which made the Billboard Hot 100.
