Monica （就是那個了不起的starrynite1，每次都冒著生命危險，走遍全美去演唱會拍大衛的粉絲）昨晚厲害的去了AI的現場，這是她在fansofdavid上發表的感想：

I thought the show as a whole was really good and very interesting to see live. It was a lot of hurry up and waiting throughout the day as there are a gazillion people who go into making a TV show happen - lighting people, camera people, pages, production assistants etc. I know because I used to work in TV! But the actual live show went very fast. Johnny and like one other person basically set up the entire band in the 3 minute commercial break, which was amazing! That’s probably why the sound wasn’t great though. It’s also why Ryan introduced David from the audience (which was right near where we were sitting btw) - to give the band more time to set up and plug in properly.

David hit a lot of great notes, smiled really genuinely at times, jumped adorably several times and really tried his best I think. I think he was nervous, still getting over his cold, was rushed out there and definitely it seemed like he felt he was not performing for “his” audience.

He did such a great job! I was disappointed that he didn’t get to do the whole song but he still killed it. It was cool seeing things that might not have been on camera, like Matt singing along and David shaking hands and hugging all the contestants before he left. It all felt so fast but I hope he was happy with the whole experience. It was great to see the band back together again too.

Another funny thing that happened was during the Idol Extra taping, Mike, Alex and Johnny B tried to come in and take a peek and because they weren’t wearing wrist bands or anything, some PA just shoved them out saying “hey you guys can’t just walk in here!” and they just politely left rather than pulling the “do you know who we are” line. I almost went up to the guy and said “hey do you know who you just kicked out?” but they were taping so I couldn’t get up. Poor guys!Anyway, the show was awesome tonight as you saw.
