Rep. Ronald Singson, head of Fearless Productions, said, “This is the first time the two will be performing a concert of this kind. No one here in the Philippines has had two foreign artists of this caliber back to back in one concert. We are fortunate to have them both here.”

Singson is also the organizer of the Fearless Fighting Championships the premiere mixed martial arts tournament in the country. Jo Mari Yllana is the lawmaker’s partner in Fearless Productions.

Cook went on to describe Ramiel Malubay: “She’d get on i-chat for 30 minutes and she always had a huge smile. When I got here everyone was the same. There’s this warmth and everyone’s smiling at us.”

Archie, who just recently turned 18, described the downside of touring.

“Travelling is great and all but it does take me away from the people who are closest to me. If we weren’t doing this I probably wouldn’t miss them as much. There are moments that you wish you were there for them.”

“We’re both very lucky to have that support group around us of family and friends. Throughout American Idol they’ve been there for us. That’s why these days there are so many ways to get in touch back home,” said Cook.
